Tzatziki Sauce

This is for me a fantastic summer sauce, refreshing for all kinds of meat!


Ingredients

  • 2 Cups
    Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Lemon juice
  • 3 Pieces
    Cloves garlic
  • 1 Piece
    Large cucumber
  • fresh dill, salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate all cucumbers.
    Put them into a pot and sprinkle them with a tablespoon of salt (the salt draws the water out).
    Let it sit for 30 minutes until the cucumbers drain their water.
    Stir the cucumbers together with greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, dill, and black pepper.
    Taste the sauce before adding any extra salt, then season it if needed. Place it in a refrigerator for at least 30 minute before serving.

    You can consume the sauce for 2-3 days when placed in the refrigerator.
