Ingredients

    Fish fillet (Cod)
  • 2 Pieces
    Zucchini
  • 200 Millilitres
    Cooking cream (optional)
  • Cloves of garlic
  • Parsley
  • 150 Grams
    Mozzarella

    Prepare the Zucchini: In a pan over medium heat, add some olive oil. Fry the zucchini slices until slightly golden on both sides. Set aside.

    Boil the Fish: In a pot, boil the fish fillets in water for about 10 minutes or until they're cooked through. Remove from water and let cool.

    Make the Fish Pâté (optional): Take one of the boiled fish fillets and break it apart in a bowl. Add your chosen ingredients and mix until you achieve a smooth pâté consistency. Set aside.

    Layering: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of olive oil. Start with a row of fried zucchini slices, followed by a layer of fish fillets. Sprinkle minced garlic and chopped parsley over the fish. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a row of zucchini on top.

    Final Touches: If you're using cooking cream, drizzle it over the top. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese over everything.

    Baking: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and become slightly golden.

    Serving: Once baked, let it cool slightly before serving. If you made fish pâté, it can be served on the side with some crackers.
