Filled paprika with mushrooms

Delicious paprikas!


Ingredients

  • 4 Pieces
    Red paprika
  • 1 Piece
    Medium zucchini
  • 1 Piece
    Medium onion
  • 4 Pieces
    Clove of garlic
  • 200 Grams
    Tomato sauce
  • 6 Teaspoons
    Olive oil
  • 1 Pinch
    Salt, chili, oregano
  • 10 Pieces
    Mushrooms
  • 4 Pieces
    Eggs optionally
  • 1 Piece
    Mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven for about 200 degrees Celsius.
    Clean the paprikas inside and put them whole for 15 minutes in the oven.

    Chop up the onion and garlic, then cut the mushrooms and zucchini into one bowl.
    Heat a large pan up and add some Olive oil or butter to it and fry the onion and garlic until it gets a nice golden color.
    Add the zucchinis and mushrooms and stir the vegetables until softened.
    Season everything additionally according to your taste.

    Finally, pour the tomato sauce - into the pot with all ingredients.
    Take the paprika from the oven and fill them with this mix of vegetables.

    Optionally: Add to the filling some mozzarella, and over each filled paprika break an egg as a topping.

    The last step is to put them for 15 minutes in the oven, when eggs are done, enjoy. ;)
