Lchf almond crackers – instead of bread

This lchf and gluten free – crackers are delicious and super simple to make they additionally fit perfect if you are following an Lchf Diet.


Ingredients

  • 2 Cups
    Pre soaked Almonds
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Olive or coconut oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon
    Sea salt
  • 100 Millilitres
    Water
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Baking powder

Instructions

  1. Place almonds, salt, water, olive or coconut oil and baking powder in a food processor.
    Blend all these ingredients together until a daugh forms.
    Place the dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper and roll it out until 1/16 inch thick.
    Cut it into 2 inch squares using a pizza cutter or a knife.
    Now Bake the dough in your oven at 170° Celsius for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Serve. :)

    Instead of water you can try the following: Yogurt, kefir, fresh cheese.
    You can also experiment with some spices such as: chili powder, oregano, garlic...
