Spinach and smoked salmon rolls

You can make these rolls with whatever you want: tuna, prosciutto….!


Ingredients

  • 4 Pieces
    Eggs
  • 200 Grams
    Spinach
  • 2 Tablespoons
    Cream Cheese
  • 5 Tablespoons
    Flour
  • 4 Tablespoons
    Olive oil
  • Oregano, basil, chili pepper, salt, pepper
  • 1 Piece
    Medium onions
  • 4 Pieces
    Cloves garlic
  • 5 Pieces
    Mushrooms
  • 150 Grams
    Smoked salmon

Instructions

  1. First, boil the spinach and when it is done, drain the water.

    Separate the egg Yolks from the whites.
    Put the egg Yolks, the Spinach together with the cream cheese and 5 tablespoons of flour and whisk it even for a minute or so.
    Afterwards whisk the egg whites slowly into your paste.

    Preheat you oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
    When done, place the mixture gently on a baking pan with baking paper on it.
    Place it into the oven on the center rack and allow the paste to bake for about 15 minutes.

    When is crust golden and not burned :), remove it from your oven.

    Finally heat a large saucepan with some olive oil up (medium heat) and saute some onion and garlic; then add the mushrooms with some seasoning of your taste like chili, oregano, salt and pepper.
    If you like you can saute the salmon too, to get a richer taste out of it...

    Now follows the interesting part, coat you Dough with the cream cheese, spread salmon over it and season everything with your oninon, garlic, seasoning mix.
    The final step is to roll everything gently but firm together.

    If you have the last step finished, cut yourself a slice and enjoy the meal!
